100% Quality and Attention to Detail
Awesome!
Ok, for what it is The Sims on the iDevice is just alright. I played it for a couple of hours total-deleted. Reinstalled it at the last update, half an hour later-deleted.
Now, Artist Colony by I-play, here's a winner. These guys took all the complaints people had about The Sims, realized a true iDevice interactive sim and came up with what is sure to recieve outstanding accolades.
You'll be totally engrossed in this game from the minute you hear the soothing music at the really nice menu screen, all the way to… Well, I can't say, I haven't made it that far yet.
I absolutely would recommend any sim fan to pick this up. Like a good storyline? Pick this up. Like some of the best controls and smoothest graphics on the AppStore yet? Get this game!

*Alright, I've made it farther into the game and story. I am controlling five artists (dancer, sculptor, painter etc.) and this game is serenly a full-fledged, console quality game. I honestly would expect to see this on a PSP for $30-$40!
Just how I had hoped!!!
I have played the PC version of Artist Colony and was pretty impressed by it.
I found it to be a really beautiful game.
When I heard that I-Play was bringing it to the iPod, I wondered how that was going to happen?!?!!
Well, it's here and I can tell you it is amazing. It's so close to it's PC counterpart, that the average person will NOT see a difference.
Even someone that sees details will find that this is a very impressive job.
I am very thankful that it was done right.
You start off as two characters that have to clean debris to get into different areas.
The map expands as you clean and work on your skills.
Without spoiling much more, it gets very interesting as time goes on.
I HIGHLY recommend this game to just about anybody.
No matter what your favorite genre is, this seems like a genre that would be enjoyed by every
human being.
That's the root of the game.
I-play has been releasing some really impressive games lately. It seems like every other game I buy lately is an I-Play game.
Can't wait to see what else the year brings!
